Our Mission Statement
At Worthing Musical Theatre Company , our mission is to enrich lives and strengthen communities through the power of musical theatre.
As a registered charity and proud member of the National Operatic and Dramatic Association (NODA), we are dedicated to promoting the highest standards of performance, accessibility, and inclusivity in the arts. We believe in the transformative magic of musical theatre to inspire, educate, and entertain people of all ages and backgrounds.

Our charity aims to provide opportunities for performers, directors and musicians to hone their skills in a supportive and collaborative environment.
Through engaging productions, we bring the joy and cultural richness of musical theatre to the widest possible audience, fostering creativity and encouraging community involvement.
As a NODA member, we uphold the values of excellence in amateur theatre and are committed to offering professional-quality performances that challenge, entertain, and inspire. We work closely with local schools and organisations, to ensure that everyone has the chance to experience the thrill of live theatre.

Based on the Oscar-winning DreamWorks film, this hilarious and heart-warming show proves that beauty really is in the eye of the ogre. Join Shrek, Fiona, Donkey, and a whole cast of beloved fairytale favourites as they embark on a larger-than-life journey filled with laughter, friendship, and unexpected romance.

With dazzling costumes, spectacular choreography, and show-stopping songs like I’m a Believer and Freak Flag, this family musical guarantees a night of fun for all ages. Directed and choreographed by Rachel Davis with musical direction by Anne Whiteside, WMTC’s production promises a feel-good celebration of individuality, courage, and true love’s unexpected twists.
